Behind the Yarn

Hi, I’m the maker behind Yarnitude Crochet 💜

I’ve always been someone who likes to stay busy and keep moving. Whether that means finding projects around the house, hopping on a flight somewhere new, or exploring places with personality—especially if they involve great food, movie locations, unusual sights, or something a little spooky.

Between July 2019 and the beginning of 2020, I went through multiple foot surgeries that forced me to slow down in a way I wasn’t used to. Suddenly, I couldn’t be constantly on the go, and spending so much time recovering and staying still became emotionally difficult.

Looking for something to keep my hands and mind occupied, I ordered some hooks, needles, yarn, and started teaching myself through YouTube.

I learned both knitting and crochet, but crochet clicked immediately.

I loved that I could create something tangible in a shorter amount of time. It felt more creative, more satisfying, and honestly—it matched my personality better. Crochet gave me something to focus on, helped me channel all that restless energy into making, and reminded me that even while standing still, I could still create.

What started as a way to get through recovery became something I genuinely love.

Now I create handmade crochet pieces inspired by things that make me happy—spooky vibes, nostalgia, playful colors, retro cartoons, travel, and little details that make people smile.

Every piece is handmade by me, and every stitch is a reminder that creativity can show up in unexpected places.

Thanks for being here and supporting my tiny corner of the internet 🕸️✨
